ペットに関するご相談もわりと増えてきています。主に供養方面と、犬猫が言いたいこと、やりたい事があるのかというのを聞きたいというものです。
わりと犬猫のスタンスと、人間側が感情移入して、ペットはこう思っているんじゃないかと思うことに乖離していることがままあります。こうだったらかわいそう、こういう姿はかわいそう、と思っているのは人間だけ、ということです。
それはさておき犬猫の供養に関してですが、犬猫は基本的に同じような種類に生まれ変わります。猫は猫、犬は犬。よほどのことがない限り、犬が人間になることはありません。わりと特殊なケースとして、犬が人間を救ったり、よほど役に立つことで大量の信仰や感謝を捧げられることで、魂を沢山貰い人になることはあります。そうでない限りは犬や猫は来世も犬、猫のになります。ともすると魂の密度としては小さいので、消滅や消滅一歩手前の状態となり終わりになることもあります。
消滅は嫌だ、飼い猫や犬とまた会いたい、何処かで会いたい、ちゃんと虹の橋渡ってね。というのであれば、哀れに思わずに次に行ってほしいと手放す事です。いつまでも自分の傍に居てほしいと求めれば、犬や猫はそこからなかなか次に行けませんので、その場に留まります。死んだあの子の音がした匂いがした、そういう体験談よく聞くでしょう。実際留まっているのです。
この世で、留まり続けるだけで、魂というのは消耗していきます。消耗して来世に行けなくなるのです。なればこそ、そこそこに憐れんだり悲しんだりするのはどこかで切り上げて、そこではなくて次に行ってほしいと願った方が貴方の可愛いペットは次に向かうことができます。犬や猫の転生は人間よりも遥かに速いので、もしかして近くにまた生まれ変わるかもしれません。もう一回、飼い猫になりたい猫は人の元に来ます。人懐っこく飼われやすい猫になります。
もし、自分の近くで亡くなったペットがいる気配がしたら、声かけてあげたり、なんとも出来そうもないなら近くの神社に行き、「どうぞ次に行かせてください」と手放してあげるも良いでしょう。可愛がって、また人間に飼われたいとペットが思うのであれば、また何処かで生まれますので、会える機会もあるかもしれません。

If you see a dead pet near you, you can call it out, or if you can’t seem to do anything, you can go to a nearby shrine and let it go, saying, “Please let me go next.” If your pet loves you and wants to be kept by a human again, it will be born somewhere again, so you may have a chance to meet it.
